The Plant Nursery Management Training Programme was successfully conducted from May 23 and June 4, 2025, at the Rideemaliyadda Livelihood development Center. The objective of the programme was to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in managing plant nurseries effectively.

* Plant propagation techniques (seeds, cuttings, grafting)
* Soil preparation and nutrient management
* Pest and disease control
* Irrigation methods
* Nursery record-keeping and marketing strategies
The training aimed to promote sustainable nursery practices and encourage self-employment and entrepreneurship in the horticulture sector. Feedback from participants indicated a high level of satisfaction and readiness to apply the skills learned in their own nursery ventures.
